A local, attentive team
Merry & Bright designs and installs residential and commercial Christmas lighting across the Charlotte area. Each project begins with the architecture, sightlines, and natural focal points, and one team carries it from the first design through removal after the holidays.

One managed experience
Design, commercial-grade products, professional installation, attentive seasonal service, and careful removal are included in one model.
A straightforward process
Share the address, your priorities, and a few helpful photos.
Most new proposals are prepared remotely from property details and images.
A deposit reserves the project on the installation calendar.
Scheduling follows route availability, access, and weather.
Maintenance requests are submitted through the service portal.
Our team returns after the season to remove the rented display.

See it before you buy it
The display is drawn onto a photo of your own property, usually as three versions at different levels of scope.
01Your propertyThe elevation as it stands today.

02The optionsThe same photo, drawn three ways.

03InstalledThe chosen option; ground-level blue accents are the homeowner's own.

Start with what is already there
A cohesive display does not need to cover everything. Strong designs establish a visual hierarchy: structural lines, a clear entry, and selected landscape or greenery accents.

Follow the architecture
C9 lighting can emphasize eaves, peaks, ridges, and selected elevations with clean, consistent lines.

Choose where the eye should travel
Peaks create rhythm. Ridges add depth. A lower roofline can ground the composition. The proposal identifies which sections contribute to the overall view and which can remain quiet.
Color changes the character

Limited availability
Gutters, peaks, and straightforward front elevations are standard. Ridges, sections that are hard to reach, and specialty products such as icicles sit outside that and are quoted on their own.
Specialty work has limited availability, and icicles are very limited. Include the areas you have in mind when you request a quote so feasibility can be reviewed.

Create depth
Selected trees, shrubs, and approach lines can connect the house to the street and make the property feel composed from front to back.
A softer, less mechanical pattern
We do not use a straight spiral as the standard treatment. A mixed S-pattern creates a more randomized appearance across the natural shape of the plant.
Light density is adjustable.

Scale the treatment to the tree
Tree lighting can function as a foreground accent, a strong focal point, or a repeated element along an approach.

Connect the views
Lit trunks or edge lighting along a drive or walkway begin the display before the house comes into view.
The same treatment on selected trees or shrubs creates rhythm across a larger property.

Day and night presence
Wreaths, garland, bows, and lighted accents can reinforce architecture and establish a clear focal point at the entry.
Scale matters
Placement and diameter should relate to the window, door, peak, or wall section, not simply the closest attachment point.

Frame the focal point
Garland is strongest when it clarifies the entry or repeats a meaningful architectural line.
It can be lit, decorated, or kept comparatively quiet depending on the surrounding display.

A clear sense of arrival

Support the composition

A short list, used well
Suspended in a tree canopy or set among shrubs, a spritzer reads clearly from the street and adds height without competing with the roofline.
Placement, height, and count are set in the proposal so the accents repeat deliberately rather than fill space.

Visibility with intention
Commercial lighting can reinforce entrances, approaches, gathering spaces, and the architectural identity of the property.
Plan around real operations

Build a clear visual system
Retail and mixed-use properties, offices, communities, hospitality spaces, churches, and other managed properties.
Depends on access, design requirements, and seasonal availability. Multi-building views and repeated elements are planned together.
Clarity before booking
A proposal can separate the strongest starting design from additional elements that expand the display. This keeps the visual priorities clear while allowing the scope to be adjusted.
Often a roofline, entry, or other primary architectural treatment.
Selected trees, shrubs, greenery, focal points, or additional elevations.
Applicable tax is added to new installations. A $250 deposit is required to book.

Service through the season
The portal creates a trackable service ticket and is required to help ensure timely service. Calls or texts alone may not create a request.
charlottechristmaslightinstallation.com/maintenance-requestFull terms are included with the proposal.
Our team returns after the season to carefully remove the rented display.

A few useful details
Installing in October is 10% off. Availability may be limited; specific timing is confirmed during booking.
